My Journey From Hospitality to Entrepreneurial Mastermind

I grew up in a humble Hispanic household, and from an early age, I understood that opportunities weren’t just going to fall into my lap. My mother raised me on her own, and her sacrifices instilled in me a deep sense of responsibility. I knew that if I didn’t work hard in school or find a way to contribute early on, life at home could be challenging. This mindset set me on a path to become an entrepreneur a journey that has taken me from working in hospitality to founding my own community for aspiring business owners.

At 17, I entered the workforce in the hospitality industry. My job exposed me to all kinds of people and taught me the value of hard work, patience, and learning from those around me. I found mentors in unexpected places, from coworkers to supervisors who were generous with their wisdom. They taught me about customer service, teamwork, and the importance of paying attention to the details. These lessons shaped my work ethic and began building the foundation for my entrepreneurial ambitions.

One day, while working, I met an incredible woman named Susan Carp. She was looking for help with Expo West, a major industry event focused on product promotion and marketing a field I knew nothing about at the time. But instead of hesitating, I offered to help however I could. My willingness to lend a hand turned out to be a pivotal moment in my life. Susan, recognizing my determination, began to teach me the ropes of marketing and product promotion. Through her, I was introduced to an entirely new world and connected with brilliant people who helped me grow.

Among these connections was Daniel Lubetzky, an entrepreneur and “Shark” from *Shark Tank*, who became an incredible mentor to me. His support and guidance motivated me to think bigger and aim higher. Then, there was Eli Markovetski, who’s played a big role in my journey as well. Each of these individuals left a lasting impact on me, not only as a professional but also as a person, showing me that success is something you create for yourself, often with the support of others.

This journey inspired me to start a News Outlet, a platform where I can empower others the way I was empowered. I believe that anyone can unlock their potential and become a successful entrepreneur. My mission is to build a community where we share our experiences, challenges, and victories, lifting each other up along the way.
